近日BC省议会议案第45号（Bill 45）——即《投机空置税》三读通过。 自2018年10月16日，BC省财政部长Carole James就投机空置税立法细节发表声明后，争议不断，接着10月22日进入二读，11月22日三读通过，预计会在12月初正式公布。 施行投机空置税地区如下： 温哥华（Vancouver）、 西温（West Vancouver）、北温（North Vancouver City and District）、列治文（Richmond）、本拿比（Burnaby）、高贵林（ Coquitlam）、 三角洲（Delta）、兰里（Langley City and Township）、 枫树岭（Maple Ridge）、新西敏（New Westminster）、 皮特草原（Pitt Meadows）、 高贵林港（Port Coquitlam）、满地宝（Port Moody）、素里（Surrey）、白石（White Rock），安莫尔（Anmore）、贝尔卡拉（Belcarra）、以及UBC大学和大学保留地（University Endowment Lands） 米申（District of Mission）、阿波次福特（City of Abbotsford）和奇利瓦克（City of Chilliwack）； 基隆拿市（City of Kelowna）和西基隆拿市（City of West Kelowna）； 纳奈莫市（City of Nanaimo）、兰茨维尔（District of Lantzville）； 也就是说，大温哥华地区（Metro Vancouver Regional District）除宝云岛（Bowen Island）、狮子湾村（Village of Lions Bay）和选区A，以及所有保留地、受条约管制的土地以及原住民自治领地，加上只能通过飞机和船到达的岛屿不属于投机空置税征收范围外，其余地区都需要征收投机空置税。 在征收范围内的物业主必须在每年3月31日前申报投机空置税（Declaration），即使符合免税资格的业主也要申报。每年2月中旬大家会收到来自BC省府的收缴投机空置邮件通知。 […]
